Coastal Navigation Workshops
This 4 hour classroom hands-on workshop is optional for home study navigation students. Also available to any sailor wanting a navigation refresher.
9 AM to 1 PM on Granville Island in Vancouver BC.
Remember to bring your own chart (3463 Georgia Strait South) & plotting tools (square plotter, parallel ruler & dividers)
Practice plotting courses, dead reckonings, variation, etc.
Learn to use the plotting tools efficiently.
Review Aids to Navigation.
Perfom a pilotage exercise with danger bearings.
